Both editions are the same product: the proxy, the six system roles, the audit of every request, CI without secrets and AI agents. Free has limits; Pro lifts them, priced by seat, and adds custom roles.

Questions before you buy.
What counts as a person?
Every enabled person, administrators and break-glass accounts included. Bots, CI pipelines and AI agents do not count, and disabling someone frees their seat.
What happens when the key expires?
A paid key carries on for 30 days of grace after its expiry date (a trial key has none), time to install the new key. Then only new registrations stop: nothing that exists is cut, and audit older than 24 hours is kept, not served, until a key is installed again.
What happens if we go over our seats?
Pro carries on for 30 days of grace. Then only adding people stops: clusters, roles and the audit window stay as they are, and disabling someone frees their seat.
Does kubelatch call home?
No. The key is verified offline, so kubelatch works air-gapped, and there is no telemetry.
Can we review the code?
Yes, under a non-disclosure agreement: write to pro@kubelatch.com. The summary of an external penetration test will be published on the security page.
Is there a founders’ discount?
The first ten teams get 50% off their first year. Write to pro@kubelatch.com for the code.
